There are many opportunities for Penn alumni, parents, and friends to make a lasting impact on this great institution. Gifts to University Initiatives enhance our campus and support a vibrant academic, cultural, and social experience that is distinctively and proudly Penn. We are pleased to acknowledge those indispensable donors who enrich the University through their philanthropy in six key areas:
Student Financial Aid—upholds our “all grant” policy for undergraduates and provides financial support for dynamic graduate scholars
Faculty Support—helps recruit and retain world-class educators and recognizes the work of current faculty
Arts and Cultural Programs—supports Penn’s unique centers of creativity, such as the Arthur Ross Gallery, Kelly Writers House, and WXPN, as well as those social hubs that serve our diverse student community—La Casa Latina, Makuu: The Black Cultural Center, Pan-Asian American Community House, and more
Alumni Programs—strengthens alumni affiliation with the University through leadership groups such as the Trustees’ Council of Penn Women and BAS Honoring Legends, as well as alumni gift funds and The Pennsylvania Gazette
Academic Support and University Life—sustains programmatic and affinity hubs such as the Center for Undergraduate Research & Fellowships, Greenfield Intercultural Center, LGBT Center, and others that facilitate students’ full and successful participation in the Penn experience
Capital Improvements—provides support for construction and renovation projects, large and small, that keep our campus buildings and landscapes in optimum condition
We recognize here all University Initiatives donors who made gifts, pledges, or pledge payments to these key areas in fiscal year 2016 (July 1, 2015–June 30, 2016). Thank you!
